It's easy to make a model run with the BRMS. Just follow these simple steps...
-
Contact BREEZE Sales to Purchase a BRMS Key.
The Key authorizes you to make a model run. There are a number of purchase
options designed to meet your specific need, including:
a) Single model run - purchase a BRMS key in advance of making a model
run
b) Unlimited model runs with monthly invoicing - establish an account
with BREEZE and submit model runs at any time.
c) Reserved time - schedule time in advance to be assured of system
availability -
Check the Queue.
Before submitting a run, it is recommended that you check the Queue to see if there
are any runs currently being processed or in the queue. Model runs are processed
on a First In / First Out policy. Therefore, your run may wait for a period
of time before it actually starts runnings. The time your run spends in the
queue is accounted for as a discount in resulting fee.
-
Upload your model scenario
via the BREEZE AERMOD (version 6.2 or greater) graphical user interface or via the
Web upload form.
You do not have to have BREEZE AERMOD to make a model run with the BRMS. Anyone
can submit a model run, as long as that run can be modeled with the U.S. EPA AERMOD
Fortran executable, it can be run by the BRMS, with some exceptions. For details
on those exceptions, please go here.
- Monitor the status of your run.
Check your email for notifications. You'll be notified via email that the
model run was received, when it started, and where to download the model results.
